Going to make this is as simple as possible.
TL;DR:
The only time I basically care is if:
-TRACING TRACING TRACING (this is when i seriously blow a fucking gasket)
-Someone is CLAIMING to have drawn my art
-Someone is CLAIMING my character
-My signature has been REMOVED
-My art work has been edited without my permission
Yes.
The way i'd PREFER people to repost is by crediting back to me and linking back to one of my main art sites.
However...
If non of the above tl;dr points have been violated.
I seriously...don't mind.
Some of the artists on my watchlist today have been found by running across an UNCREDITED image on tumblr.
BUT their signature was in tact OR even if it wasn't google has this amazing thing called 'reverse image search'.
so when i REALLY loved the art? I reversed it. Found them. And was sooo happy to have their art work in my submission notifications now.
I can only hope and assume someone out there has found me through a similar method.
This is the internet.
People repost things they like.
sometimes they're so excited they forget to credit back or are frankly too lazy to find the original link back.
But again tl;dr:
free advertisement is free advertisement in my eyes UNLESS you're violating the very first things i pointed out here.
